Judy Garland was truly one of America's sweethearts. She won people over at the early age of 16 when she made 'The Wizard of Oz' in 1939, and continued to work through the 1960s. She passed away in 1969.
Garland's career includes 32 films and one Academy Award for Outstanding Performance as a Screen Juvenile in 1940. She was nominated in 1955 for Best Actress in a Leading Roll for 'A Star is Born,' and was nominated once again for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 'Judgment at Nuremberg' in 1962.
Garland was also famous for her voice, which appeared in many films and on many radio stations over the span of her career. Her most famous song ever recorded is arguably, 'Over The Rainbow' from the film 'The Wizard of Oz.'
